I am really enjoying this series by Linda Rawlins. She has good character development and plots. I just wish she didn't have this "twitterpatedness" between Dr. Amy and Fr. Michael. Can't they just be good friends? Dr. Amy gets a kick out of what all the nurses think she's up to and who she might be, but in real life they'd be gossiping about her and the priest! There are a few other minor concerns like St. Francis has 3,000 members in a small town. Also it has a five story hospital. Hard to believe. But a good series.

Without preaching or beating the reader over the head, Ms. Rawlins has given us a story where in spite of the trials the characters rely on their faith and each other to get through the difficulties they encounter. From Katie the priest’s cook and the mother figure for all, Willow the orphan teenager who has been taken under wing, to even the hard broiled FBI agent, Marcus Cain, we see well developed characters that bring the story to life. Even the two priests, Fr. Victor and Fr. Michael are nicely fleshed out and we see a set of characters that are human, dealing with all the ups and downs of human life in a small town.
Although part of a series, this book can be read as a stand-alone novel. There are a few references to things that happened in the first book. Having not read the first book, I had no trouble following the story, as references to the past are so subtle that you do not need to know the complete history to read and enjoy Fatal Breach.
I highly recommend this book. It is an enjoyable fast paced read that keeps the reader engrossed in the story right up until the exciting end. I give Ms. Rawlins five stars and if I hadn’t already read the third book in the series I would be rushing out to read the next installment. I think instead I will read the first book and see where it all started.
Just finished reading Fatal Breach, kept me wanting more. I love the characters and the mystery that surrounds them. Cant wait for the next book.
Quick read yet had it's twists and turns. Would like to see something develop between Any and FBI Agent Cain.
We finally get to enjoy the second Rocky Meadow Mystery and find out what Dr. Amy, Fr. Michael, and the gang have been up to..it kept me on the edge of my seat and I could not put Now, when will the next book come out? I really enjoy these characters and look forward to their next adventure!
Dr. Amy and Father Michael continue to sleuth in this second book in the series with the aid of a new character, S.A. Marcus Cain. Fatal Breach is a compelling story that will make you think twice before carelessly tossing an ordinary flash drive into a desk drawer.
Loved this book. Read it in 2 days would hope to see more of the stories of Dr. AMY & Father MICHAEL. IT IS REFRESHING to read books that are not full of discriptions of sex acts.have read the 3 books & look forward to more.
